The Higher Education Partnership Initiative (HEPI) Annual Partner Meeting is a platform for HEPI's higher education institution, industry, and government partners to come together annually to foster collaboration and strategic alignment among partner institutions, including higher education institutions, industry stakeholders, and government entities. The meeting aims to review progress, share best practices, and discuss future plans that align with HEPI's mission to enhance higher education in Indonesia. Through this annual gathering, the partners will collectively identify opportunities to strengthen partnerships, innovate in educational practices, and drive sustainable development initiatives that contribute to Indonesia's socio-economic growth and global competitiveness.

In the first part of this session, the HEPI team will present a comprehensive and concise summary of hub and affiliate university partners’ current states, and how each institution can utilize HEPI to achieve its goals, including building partnerships and pathways.
The Internal Mid-term Review (IMR) is critical to the HEPI project’s ongoing evaluation process. It provides a comprehensive assessment of the progress made during the first half of the project cycle. This review will highlight key achievements, identify areas for improvement, and address emerging challenges.
The IMR presentation (30 minutes) will feature an in-depth analysis of the data collected thus far, offering insights into the effectiveness of the project strategies and the impact of HEPI core activities.
A validation session (30 minutes) will be conducted after the presentation. This session involves key stakeholders in a discussion to verify the accuracy of the findings and gather their perspectives on the project’s direction. This collaborative approach ensures that our assessment is thorough and grounded in real-world conditions. Stakeholder feedback will be instrumental in refining our strategies and making informed decisions for the remainder of the project cycle.

Introductory Partnership Sessions for U.S. and Indonesia Universities (40 minutes)
As a HEPI Sub awardee, USINDO will support the HEPI Community of Practice by promoting global educational collaboration over the coming years. The primary goal of this initiative is to facilitate the development of partnership agreements in STEM program articulation and other areas of mutual interest. The long-term aim is to use these activities as a springboard to expand Indonesian universities' exposure to US institutions and explore partnership opportunities. While the process will begin with introductory sessions, the ultimate goal is to organize in-country visits by US universities to Indonesia or vice versa, to formalize partnerships and initiate collaborative activities.
